How To Apply For SSC(W) Tech & SSC(W) (Non Tech) (Non UPSC) Vacancies
- Visit the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
- Click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’.
- If not already registered, click on ‘Registration’ to create a new account. If already registered, log in.
- Read the instructions carefully and fill in the online registration form.
- After registration, click on ‘Apply Online’ under the Dashboard.
- A page ‘Officers Selection – Eligibility’ will open. Click ‘Apply’ for the Short Service Commission Technical Course.
- The ‘Application Form’ page will open. Read the instructions, then click ‘Continue’ to fill in the details:
- Personal Information
- Communication Details
- Educational Details
- Previous SSB Details (if applicable)
- Click ‘Save & Continue’ after completing each section before moving to the next.
- Once all details are filled, a ‘Summary of your information’ page will appear. Verify and edit if needed.
- After confirming all details are correct, click ‘Submit’.
- After submission, take two copies of the application form with your Roll Number.
- Print the application 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
Selection Procedure
- Shortlisting of Applications:
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the graduation marks.
- Cut-off percentages will be set depending on the number of applications and vacancies.
- Candidates in their final year can apply but must meet the cut-off percentage by the final semester.
- Centre Allotment:
- After shortlisting, candidates will receive their centre allotment via email.
- Candidates can select their SSB dates based on availability.
- SSB date selection might be forfeited in exceptional cases.
- SSB Interview:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interviews at centres like Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, and Jalandhar.
- Interview will be conducted by a Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer.
- Call-up letters will be sent via email and SMS.
- Two-Stage Selection Procedure:
- Stage 1: Candidates who clear Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2. Those who fail in Stage 1 will be returned on the same day.
- Duration of SSB interviews: 5 days.
- Medical examination follows for candidates recommended in Stage 2.
- Final Selection:
- Candidates recommended by SSB and declared medically fit will receive a joining letter based on merit and available vacancies.
