- The test has 100 questions for 100 marks.
- For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- A minimum of 50 marks is required. Candidates will be called for typing in a 1:10 ratio against tentative posts.
Typing Test Rules
- Candidates must type in English at 35 words per minute or more on a computer.
- Mistakes must not exceed 3% of the total words typed.
- A mistake in a word or figure is counted as one full mistake.
- Using a capital letter in place of a small letter, or the reverse, counts as half a mistake.
- Omitting or replacing a punctuation mark also counts as half a mistake.
Descriptive Test and Interview
- The descriptive test includes an English comprehension passage, precis writing and essay writing.
- Only candidates who pass the typing test will have their descriptive answer sheets evaluated.
- After qualifying the objective, typing and descriptive tests, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:3 ratio.
- The interview has 25 marks. Candidates must score at least 13 marks.
- The interview may take place online or through a physical interview in Delhi.
Test Centres and Required Documents
- The objective test will take place in different cities across India, as listed in Annexure-A.
