There is no interview. Junior Accountant selection depends on the written exam. Assistant candidates must also take a typing test.

Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II
Phase-I: Computer-Based Tests
- Pre Exam: This test is used to shortlist candidates. Its marks do not count towards final selection. No marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Main Exam: Marks from this test make up 40% of the final score. Wrong answers will lead to a deduction in marks.
- Both tests cover Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Science, Hindi and English.
Phase-II: Hindi and English Typing Test
- The typing test makes up 60% of the final score.
- There are speed and efficiency tests in both Hindi and English. Each test is for 25 marks and lasts 10 minutes.
- For PwBD candidates, average marks based on their Phase-I Main exam performance are used in place of typing test marks.
- The final Assistant score combines 40% Main exam marks and 60% typing test marks.
