You also need to know Hindi written in Devanagari. Any one of the following options are required also: 1. Planning or Housing degree/diploma listed in Appendix Q(i). 2. Bachelor of Planning or B.Tech in Planning with 2 years of Urban Planning experience in a government body, local urban authority or another eligible organisation. 3. 3 years of work in Architecture, Town Planning or Housing. Get your experience certified by the head of the institution. 4. A 1-year Postgraduate Diploma in Housing and 1 year of work in Architecture, Town Planning or Housing. |

Assistant Architect Planner and Sports Officer
For each post, take a multiple-choice paper and a written subject paper. UPPSC adds the scores of both papers to prepare the merit list.

Wrong Answers and Minimum Marks
- A wrong answer costs one-third of the marks for that question. Selecting multiple options counts as a wrong answer. Blank answers have no penalty.
- SC and ST candidates must score at least 35% for merit list consideration. The minimum is 40% for other candidates.
- Eligible Chief Minister Fellowship scholars get 1.5, 3 or 4.5 extra marks for completing 1, 2 or 3 years.
