- Class 10: At least 50% marks in total from a recognised board under the 10+2 system.
- Trade certificate: For your chosen trade, you need a ITI Certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). A provisional certificate from NCVT or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) also counts.
- Who cannot apply: Candidates with an engineering degree or diploma.
