RRB Isolated Categories 2026: Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Tests and Final Selection
- Computer Based Test: Applicants first take one CBT. Its score is used for the merit list.
- Translation Test: Junior Translator / Hindi applicants also translate between Hindi and English. They must score at least 60%. These test marks do not increase the final score.
- Original Document Check: Candidates are called against the vacancies in a 1:1 ratio, based on CBT merit. They must show original qualification, technical, age and category certificates. Employed candidates must also show an NOC.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must meet their post’s Railway medical standard. Final selection requires successful document checks, medical fitness and the translation test where required.

Does RRB Isolated Categories Junior Translator 2026 have a translation test?
