Eligibility Details
- Education: A regular, full-time graduation degree in any subject. Examples include B.E., B.Tech, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., BBA and BCA.
- Qualification Date: Graduation must be passed and the degree certificate must be available by 01/04/2026.
- NATS Profile: Complete all profile details. The profile must show 100% completion on the NATS portal.
Who Cannot Apply?
- Candidates who have a postgraduate degree or have completed an integrated postgraduate course.
- Graduates from an institution without the required AICTE / DOTE / UGC approval.
- Candidates with 1 year or more of work experience in a Government, public sector or private organisation as on 01/04/2026.
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, are currently taking it, or were terminated from training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
NICL Graduate Apprentice: Salary Details

NICL Graduate Apprentice 2026: Selection Process & Exam Pattern

| Shortlisting | The Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region), BOPT (ER), will prepare the shortlist from application details entered on NATS. |
| Graduation Marks | Candidates will be ranked by their graduation percentage, entered up to 2 decimal places. Higher marks get a higher place. |
| Grade Conversion | Convert CGPA / OGPA / GPA (grade-point scores) into percentage using the university’s formula. Enter that percentage in NATS. |
| Same Percentage | If candidates have the same percentage, the older candidate will be placed higher. |
| Original Document Check | Shortlisted candidates must visit the specified NICL office and show their original documents for checking. Details will be sent by email. |
| Final Engagement | The original documents must match the NATS application details. The apprenticeship contract must also be approved on NATS. |
