- Degree Route:
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Post-Certificate or Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute or university.
- Registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the Indian or State Nursing Council is required. Previous work experience is not required.
- GNM Route:
- General Nursing and Midwifery diploma from an institute, board or council recognized by the Indian or State Nursing Council.
- Nurse and Midwife registration is compulsory. Applicants also need two years of work in a hospital with at least 50 beds after completing the course, result and registration.
