DSSSB Sweeper & Chowkidar 2026: Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection Stages

- Candidates get 2 hours for the test. Eligible PwD candidates get 160 minutes.
- The paper uses English and Hindi, apart from the language-specific questions.
- A wrong answer leads to a deduction of 0.25 marks.
- UR / EWS candidates need 50% marks in the objective test. The requirement is 45% for OBC (Delhi), SC, ST, PwBD and ESM.
- For exams held in more than one shift, scores will be adjusted using DSSSBโs normalization method.
Interview Rules
- Candidates will be shortlisted by their written test score. Up to 10 candidates per post may be called.
- The interview adds up to 15 marks to the final score. There is no separate minimum interview score to pass.
- The District & Sessions Courts at Tis Hazari will prepare final merit from the combined test and interview scores.
- When totals are equal, the older candidate ranks first. If both have the same birth date, English alphabetical order of first names decides priority.
Physical / Other Test Details
