Option 1:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing OR B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized Institute/University
OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Post Certificate) from an INC recognized Institute/University - Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council. OR,
Option 2:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC recognized Institute/University
- Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds, after completing the GNM qualification

Steps for Online Application – KGMU Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025
- Online Application:
Applications can be submitted only through the official website: www.kgmu.org/job.php - Registration:
Click on “Registration for New Users” and start the registration process. You will be asked to provide your Name, Post Applied For, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile Number. - Receive Credentials:
After successful registration, a password will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number, and a user ID will be sent to your registered email ID. - Sign In:
Click on “Sign In for Existing Users” and log in using the user ID and password received during registration. - Complete Application:
Fill in all the required details in the application form. Once you complete the form and pay the application fee, you will be able to see the full application with your photo, a confirmation message, and your Application Sequence Number, which should be saved for future reference. It is important to tick/select the post you are applying for during registration. If not selected, your application will not be accepted. - Payment:
The application fee must be paid online only. To avoid technical issues, it is advised to complete the payment process well before the last date. The university will not be responsible for any network failures or transaction delays.
