  • General / EWS: Minimum 55% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • OBC – NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: Minimum 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Final Year Master’s Students: Can apply provisionally; must secure required marks within two years of the result.
  • Ph.D. Candidates: Relaxation of 5% marks if Master’s degree was completed by 19 September 1991.
  • Third Gender Candidates: Eligible for the same relaxations as SC/ST/PwD categories.
  • 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree Holders: Minimum 75% marks required (70% for reserved categories).
  • Foreign / Indian Diplomas: Must confirm equivalence with Indian Master’s degree from AIU.
  • No Document Submission: Self-verification of eligibility; provisional candidature subject to verification.

How to Fill the CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Online Application Form:

  • Step 1: Register Online
    • Go to the link: https://csirnetdec2024.ntaonline.in/
    • Use a unique email ID and mobile number for registration.
    • Make sure these are your own, as all communications will be sent here.
  • Step 2: Fill in the Application Form
    • Complete the form and note the system-generated application number.
    • Upload the following documents:
      • Recent Photograph: JPG file (size: 10KB – 200KB), face visible (without mask), 80% face coverage, white background.
      • Signature: JPG file (size: 4KB – 30KB).
      • Result Awaited Attestation Form: PDF file (size: 50KB – 500KB).
      • Category Certificate (if applicable): PDF file (size: 50KB – 300KB).
      • PwD Certificate (if applicable): PDF file (size: 50KB – 300KB).
  • Step 3: Pay the Fee
    • Pay through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
    • Keep proof of payment for future reference.
    • PwD candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
  • Final Step: Confirmation Page
    • After fee payment, download and print the confirmation page.
    • If the confirmation page isn’t generated, contact the bank/payment gateway for help.
    • Print a copy of the confirmation page and save it for reference.
