Post	Essential Educational Qualifications
Ayush Chikitsak (Ayurvedic)	🔸 Must hold a B.A.M.S. Degree (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/institution. 🔸 Degree must be included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council, New Delhi. 🔸 Must have completed compulsory internship training. 🔸 Must be registered with the Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Chikitsa Parishad, Patna.
Ayush Chikitsak (Homeopathic)	🔸 Must hold a B.H.M.S. Degree (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/institution. 🔸 Degree must be included in the Second Schedule of the Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi. 🔸 Must have completed compulsory internship training. 🔸 Must be registered with the Bihar State Homeopathic Chikitsa Parishad, Patna.
Ayush Chikitsak (Unani)	🔸 Must hold a B.U.M.S. Degree (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/institution. 🔸 Degree must be included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council, New Delhi. 🔸 Must have completed compulsory internship training. 🔸 Must be registered with the Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Chikitsa Parishad, Patna.

• ₹32,000 Monthly

Selection Procedure for Ayush Chikitsak Posts

1. Basis of Selection

• Selection will be based on performance in a Computer Based Test (CBT).

2. Computer Based Test (CBT) Details

• The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
• The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.
• Marking Scheme:
  • Each correct answer: 4 marks
  • Each incorrect answer: 1 mark will be deducted (negative marking)
• Total Marks: 400
• Duration: 2 hours

3. Normalization Process

• If the CBT is conducted in multiple shifts, scores will be normalized to ensure fairness.
• The Normalization Process will be applied before preparing the result.

4. Merit List and Shortlisting

• A merit list will be prepared based on the normalized marks obtained in the CBT.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification/Counseling in a ratio of approximately 1:2.5 (i.e., 2.5 times the number of category-wise vacancies).
• The final merit list will be prepared after counseling as per applicable rules.

5. Document Verification and Counseling

• Shortlisted candidates must appear for Document Verification and Counseling.
• Candidates must bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies.
• Only those documents that were mentioned and uploaded during the online application will be considered.
• Any omitted or unverified documents at this stage will lead to disqualification.

6. Tie-Breaking Criteria

• In case of a tie in CBT scores, the following rules will apply:
  1. Candidate older in age will be given preference.
  2. If age is also the same, the candidate whose name comes first in English alphabetical order will be ranked higher.
