Navy SSC Executive IT Branch Selection Procedure
The selection process for the Navy Executive IT Branch is as follows:
- Application Shortlisting:
- Applications will be shortlisted based on normalized marks from the qualifying degree.
- The formula for normalization is available on the Indian Navy website: https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/files/normalisation.pdf.
- Marks Consideration:
- For BE/B.Tech Candidates: Marks obtained up to the 5th semester will be considered for shortlisting.
- For MSc/MCA/M.Tech Candidates:
- Completed degree: Marks from all semesters will be considered.
- Final-year students: Marks up to the pre-final year will be considered.
- SSB Interview Notification:
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or SMS (as provided in the application).
- It is advised not to change your registered email or mobile number during the selection process.
- SSB Call Letter:
- Download the SSB interview call letter after receiving the notification from NHQ/DMPR via SMS/email.
- Any request to change the SSB center or dates will not be accepted.
- SSB Interview Details:
- Details about the SSB interview process are available on the official Navy website: www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
- No compensation is provided for injuries sustained during the SSB tests.
- Travel Allowance:
- First-time candidates for this type of commission are eligible for AC 3-tier rail fare reimbursement.
