Eligibility Details
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board.
- A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required in the 10th class examination.
- The candidate must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade.
- The ITI Certificate must be obtained from institutes recognized by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Council for Vocational Training).
Selection Procedure
- Selection will be based on merit, following Railway Board guidelines (RBE 120/2015).
- Merit list will be prepared by averaging the percentage marks from both 10th Class (minimum 50%) and ITI examination.
- Equal weightage will be given to both 10th and ITI marks.
- If two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
- If the age is also the same, the candidate who passed the 10th Class exam earlier will be considered.
How to Railway RRC SCR Apprentices Online Form 2025
- Visit the official website of South Central Railway: www.scr.indianrailways.gov.in.
- Click on the “ONLINE ACT APPRENTICE APPLICATION” link.
- Read all the instructions carefully and download the detailed notification.
- Click on the registration link to begin the application process.
- Select your state and district, enter your valid mobile number, email ID, and create a password.
- Submit the OTP received on your registered mobile and email.
- Fill in your personal details such as name, father’s name, community, date of birth, and educational qualifications.
- Choose your preferred Railway Establishments for training (once selected, it cannot be modified).
- Upload a recent passport-sized color photograph (JPEG format, under 1MB) and your specimen signature (under 1MB).
- Upload the required educational certificates and RDAT registration form in PDF format (under 2MB).
- Preview the application to verify all entered details.
- Click the submit button to finalize the application.
- If applicable, proceed to the payment gateway to pay the processing fee.
- After submission, download and print the application form for future reference.
